Well, I love the Thermomix so much that I have decided to become a Consultant!
I have felt truly inspired by this amazing machine and the people behind it! I want to spread this love and passion to others, especially those with tricky food allergies/sensitivities/intolerance's and those wanting to cut out all the unnecessary additives and preservatives found in our food today. I hope that, by joining the Thermomix team, I can excite and motivate people about healthy cooking and eating. I want people to be excited about what they put in their bodies and know why it's so important to make conscious food decisions, all while making simple and delicious food.
I can finally say that I have a healthy relationship with food- I no longer wish that there was a pill to take that would make me feel full and receive all the nutrients I need because I have found something, the Thermomix, to help me work around my allergies. I will admit though, that I was one of the people who put off getting the machine, as I thought the price was too risky AND I wouldn't get the same pleasure out of cooking and baking that I did 'by hand'. But after going to 3 demo's (all very inspiring and successful) over a 2 year period, I knew that I could still indulge my love for cooking and baking. What I didn't know but have been pleasantly surprised by is how creative I can be in the kitchen now with this amazing tool. I have made food that I always wanted to try but thought the risk was too high and if it turned out to be a flop I would have wasted too much time, ingredients and confidence. A huge shout out to the recipe books and recipe sharing community among the Thermomix world...I just couldn't have taken that big leap without them. I am at the point where I trial my own recipes now and I am having a blast EVERY DAY in the kitchen. I just love using the Thermomix. It has saved me so much time, dishes and frustration that I can't imagine my life without it! I eat better than I ever have in my life and I no longer feel like I'm missing out on the experience of food.
Just writing all of this down, has given me more inspiration to be the best Consultant I can. I might as well put all of the creative doing, thinking, writing, talking and passion I have towards something! I've always been a goal setter and love taking on new challenges...I'm excited to see where this one will take me!
Happy Thermomixing!
Here you will find my collection of simple, delicious & nutritious recipes created using the thermomix! I am a thermomix consultant who needed a space to blab about my love for the machine!

Juicing in the Thermomix! Easy!!!
I woke up this morning, everyday this week mind you, with terrible hayfever. It is quite bad; I can't breathe trough my nose, have itchy watery puffy eyes, scratchy throat and somehow my nose runs and is completely blocked at the same time with generous helpings of sneezes!!! I know I'm not alone but this is all a part of my Oral Allergy Syndrome. My seasonal allergies have been getting progressively worse since moving here so I am just hoping that all of this desensitization from Canadian pollen isn't going to be replaced by Aussie pollens. I desperately want to continue eating these new families of fruit/veg/nuts.
Add all ingredients to TM bowl.
Other favourite combos:
2 oranges, peeled and halved
1 lemon, peeled and halved
1 tray of ice
OR
1 apple, quartered
1 orange, peeled and halved
1 lemon, peeled and halved
1 tray of ice
So this morning I figured my body deserves some vitamin c to help ward off any germs I may bring in through all the nose blowing and touching and clear this sinus infection. I can't taste food in this state so no point in whipping up something decadent. I stuck with a simple juice and it was so good! I could taste the fresh grapefruit and enjoyed basically pulp free juice in 2 minutes...go Thermo!
Ingredients:
2 oranges, peeled and halved
1 grapefruit, peeled and cut in thirds
1 tray of ice
Chop at speed 5, 20-30 seconds (until the MC settles down), then blend for 2 minutes, speed 9. You can insert the basket if you'd like to strain the pulp- just make sure you've lined up the lip of the basket with the pouring lip of the TM bowl. I don't find there to be much left after the 2 minutes so I don't bother!!!

The Thermomix Journey Begins...
Hi all,
It has been 1 week since we received our Thermomix...and let's just say that we can already see a huge change in the way we think about food, prepare food and what we are eating!
I am a bit of a special case when it comes to food- long story short, I am a vegetarian who is allergic to raw fruit and veg, nuts and soy. I also have a very sensitive tummy and avoid most dairy. I have what's called Oral Allergy Syndrome but I have recently noticed changes to my allergies so I am hopeful that I am on a new journey with food...starting with the Thermomix!
I have always valued healthy, whole foods and was thrilled to see the ability to cook from SCRATCH, I mean REALLY from scratch at the first demo I attended about a year and a half ago. I knew that this masterful machine was bound to help support my healthy lifestyle that has a few quirky aspects to it!
I hope that this blog reaches out to a number of people who are interested in wholesome foods that are simple, delicious and packed with a nutritional punch!
Thanks for visiting! Now, to get Thermomixing :)
