Fresh Homemade Kebab using the Thermomix

Amazing...seriously...I have no other words. I made this delicious dinner with left over Chickpea Smash and whipped up a yummy tzaziki and fresh salad in the Thermomix to creat the most amazing kebab.  Forget takeaway! Get cooking with fresh, preservative free, and low fat ingredients and save yourself money! 😊

First make your tzaziki! (From the EDC)

200g cucumber
1tsp salt

1 clove garlic

350g natural Greek yogurt
2tsp dill
30g olive oil
Pepper to taste

Add cucumber and salt to TM bowl. Chop 3 seconds, speed 4. Drain in TM bowl for 10 minutes. Press liquid out using your spatula.

Add garlic to TM bowl. Chop 3 seconds, speed 8.

Add all ingredients, including the drained cucumber, and mix for 15 seconds, REVERSE, speed 3. Pour into serving bowl.

Then, chop up the fresh topping!

1/2 tomato
1/4 onion
120g iceberg lettuce
50g cucumber
Few sprigs of parsley
Cracked pepper

Chop 3 seconds, speed 2. Set aside in serving bowl.

Finally, jazz up my Chickpea Smash recipe. I added:

1tsp thyme
1tsp coriander
1/4tsp chili flakes

Mix 3 seconds, speed 4. Warm up 2 minutes, 100º, REVERSE, slow speed.

Layer on a warmed pita and enjoy!

Happy Thermomixing ❤️
